(Lenox) The identity of the kayaker whose kayak was found yesterday afternoon at approximately 5:30 p.m. near Old Orchard Road in Lenox has been identified.
According to Acting Sheriff/Undersheriff John Ball, the body of Steven J. Cullen, 63, of Milton, Wis., was discovered this morning near Verona Beach State Park after an active search lasting more than 13 hours.
Cullen’s body was taken to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office in Syracuse for an autopsy.
