Dress up, sing along, and have brunch with some of your favorite characters

The Resource Center for Independent Living is excited to announce that the second annual Children’s Brunch & Character Party will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Dorothy Smith Center for Advocacy (1607 Genesee St., Utica).

Enjoy Brunch while characters from your favorite books, movies, and television shows stop by and visit. Sing-along to fun and memorable songs and get autographs. Don’t forget to bring your camera to get pictures of you and/or your child with their most beloved characters.

There will be 15-plus favorite characters; including princesses, monsters and superheroes from all-time great movies.

Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for children 13 and under. Get information and buy tickets online at
rcil.com/KidsBrunch or by calling 315-797-4642 ext. 2987.

Proceeds from this event will make it possible for RCIL to continue to provide an opportunity for Adult Day Service participants to enjoy Seasons at RCIL – a safe and accessible area where they can garden, visit and soak up the fresh air and sun.
