More than 1,500 attendees are expected to grace campus to celebrate agriculture during Morrisville State College’s annual Ag Day, being held Thursday, Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Academic Quad.
The event, free and open to the public, features a pedal tractor pull, hayrides, hay maze, face painting and seed-planting activities.
A petting area with a variety of farm animals will also be available, as will samples of ice cream produced by the college.
Helping run the event are more than 50 MSC agriculture students representing the Morrisville Collegiate FFA and the Agricultural Engineering, Dairy and Livestock clubs. They will be joined by more than 50 high school student volunteers representing local Collegiate FFA Chapters, as the event is being held in collaboration with Madison Central School, Hamilton Central School and Stockbridge Valley Central School.
