The Library has a new flag that was flown at the United States Capitol Building, in our honor! Local veteran John Rathbone, representing the American Legion, will assist in retiring our old flag and welcoming the new one. We hope you’ll join us for this special ceremony and informal reception hosted by the Friends of the Library.

The Hamilton Public Library will still be hosting our regular story time for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers on election day. Please call the Library in advance for details on exact location for today’s story time.
The Hamilton Public Library will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
As we draw nearer to Veterans Day, community members are invited celebrate with some special programs at the Hamilton Public Library. The Library has a new flag that was flown at the United States Capitol Building, in our honor. On Monday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m., local veteran John Rathbone, representing the American Legion, will assist in retiring our old flag and welcoming the new one. We hope you’ll join us for this special ceremony and informal reception hosted by the Friends of the Library. Families with children are also encouraged to come early for a special children’s program to make their own flags from 3:15 to 4 p.m. Children will be encouraged to explore flags from around the world, what some of them mean, and to make their own versions to represent who they are.
