Mercy Flight Central welcomed Dominion Energy Transmission to its base location at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, where the company presented Jeff Bartkoski, MFC President/CEO and crew members with a $5,000 check to support training initiatives.
This contribution will help ensure the highest quality of skills for emergency and trauma medicine.
“We are proud to continue our financial support for Mercy Flight Central’s training program to ensure pilots, nurses and paramedics obtain or maintain their required certifications,” said Stan J. Ossowski, manager, gas transmission operations, Dominion Energy Transmission, which includes a natural gas pipeline system that runs throughout upstate New York. “These qualified air medical personnel deliver critical care patients to the operating room, saving transportation time by minutes and even seconds, which can be the difference in saving peoples’ lives.”
“We are grateful for the continued support from the Dominion Foundation,” Bartkoski said. “The funds that we receive from the community – foundations, individuals, corporations, and local governments – are integral to the delivery of critical care air medical services to the communities in which we serve.”
