Following an investigation into the possession and sales of cocaine within the city of Oneida, the Oneida City Police have arrested Jill Tuten, 44, per an indictment arrest warrant. She has been indicted and arrested for the following charges: Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class B felonies) and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (class B felonies).
Following her arrest, Tuten was arraigned before the Madison County Court. She was remanded to Madison County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond. She was ordered to reappear before the court at a later date and time.
The Oneida City Police Investigation’s Unit was assisted in this investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit and the Madison County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, and by the Vernon Police Department with the apprehension and arrest.
