Charges pending in domestic dispute ending in stabbing
At approximately 8:30 a.m. Feb. 23, Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a reported domestic dispute involving a mother and son on Taylor Road in Sullivan. It was also reported that the mother had been stabbed by the son during the dispute.
As deputies were arriving at the scene, the son fled in a vehicle and led deputies on a short chase before being taken into custody.
Deputies at the scene found the mother had stab wounds to her neck and chest. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of her wounds. The mother has been admitted to the hospital in stable condition.
This is an ongoing investigation and charges are pending at this time.
