Learn how to identify birds
On Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 8:30 a.m., join expert birder Steve Kinne at the Great Swamp Conservancy, Inc., 8375 N. Main St., as he identifies species at the feeders, answers questions and shares tips.
Enjoy coffee or hot cocoa and a bagel while you view birds through the bay window and relax in the warmth from the woodstove. GSC is part of the Cowaselon Creek Watershed, which has been designated an important birding area by Audubon New York.
The IBA has been recognized for its outstanding value as a critical bird breeding, migratory stop-over, feeding and over-wintering area in the state.
