LETTER: Reality Check students want community free of tobacco marketing, public use
To the Editor:
Hello. I am Bailey Foster, and I go to Chittenango Middle School. Within the school, I work with a group called Reality Check.
This month, Madison County Public Health Director Eric Faisst came to our school after the regular school day to talk to us about tobacco and how polices are passed. We had many questions, and he answered them all to the best of his ability.
We are hoping in the future to see our county parks to be tobacco free, see kids protected from tobacco marketing in stores where we shop and it would be good to talk to Mr. Fiasst about tobacco-free marketing.
I and the CMS would like to thank Mr. Fiasst for coming and talking to us. We would really like to see improvements in getting our parks tobacco free. Thank you!
Bailey Foster, Chittenango
