Burgess Shares on grace and aging services

The Rev. Thomas Burgess, pastor of the non-denominational Hope Christian Fellowship in Canastota and a case supervisor with Onondaga County Adult Protective Services, recently spoke at two events.

On Sunday, March 4, Burgess was the guest speaker at the morning worship service of the Delphi Falls United Church, where he preached on the topic of “God’s Amazing Grace.” The church was formed by the union of an American Baptist congregation and a United Methodist congregation. The Rev. Brian Pidkaminy is the pastor.

On Thursday, March 22, Burgess was a presenter at the ninth annual Aging Services Show & Tell, sponsored by the Onondaga County Department of Adult and Long-Term Care Services. This year’s program was held at Greenpoint in Liverpool, where he shared about protective services for vulnerable adults. Hosts were Joanne Spoto-Decker and Larry Matthews from the Office for Aging.
