National Day of Prayer May 3
Prayer has always been used in this country for guidance, protection and strength – even before we were a nation or a handful of colonies. Prayer brings people together. Prayer builds bridges between opposing persons and even political parties. Prayer reminds us that we are created in God’s image and He desires for us to represent Him everywhere we go. Prayer brings unity.
The Oneida Area Council of Churches) invites the public – regardless of faith or denomination – to join us for the 67th annual National day of Prayer (Pray for America – unity, Ephesians 4:3 “Making every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace”) at Oneida City Hall, noon to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, as we recognize and pray for these fractions of our community: government, military, media, business, education, church and family.
