Feel the American West: Marc Berger in Concert at the Utica Public Library

On Friday, May 11, at 6:30 p.m., the Utica Public Library will present a unique musical event in its gallery as singer/songwriter and wilderness junky Marc Berger performs in concert.

Berger is a man with two simultaneous passions: exploring little known areas of the American West and writing and producing his heartfelt songs about those explorations.  He and co-producer Mike Ricciardi created RIDE, 10 cinematic recordings that capture Berger’s journeys and his profound love for the American West.

Marc Berger’s career has taken him from New York City clubs such as CBGB and Wetlands to performances at Austin’s South by Southwest Music Festival and the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.  He has opened shows for Bob Dylan and RIDE has the honor of receiving in-store play at Starbucks stores worldwide.

The concert is free to the public.
