Chicken barbecue planned
The United Church of Canastota, 144 Center St., is barbecuing up some chicken Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. until sold out. You can drive up, pay and drive away with a half chicken, salt potatoes, slaw, beans, roll and dessert.
Why not surprise Mom a day early with dinner? Donation is $10 per meal or $9 if you donate a non-perishable food item for our food pantry. Call ahead, and we’ll have it ready to go – 315.697.9222.
Believers’ Chapel to host Wayne Tingle
The Nicaragua Mission team welcomes Enrich Missions co-founder Wayne Tingle to CNY. The Believers’ Chapel at 2657 Seneca Tpke. (Route 5), Canastota, is hosting an Evening with Enrich Missions at 7 p.m. Friday, May 18.
Tingle will present the mission goals and discuss the work his team is doing to enrich the lives of the people in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.
Light refreshments will be served at the meet-and-greet to follow. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
