Tenney visits A&P Masters to highlight National Small Business Week
A&P Master Images is one of the many businesses that has significantly benefited from tax reform
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) toured A&P Master Images to see firsthand how tax reform has benefited the company and employees. Howard Potter, CEO of A&P, recently sent Tenney a letter highlighting the impacts tax reform has had on his business and employees.
“As part of my tour of small businesses across the 22nd District, I visited A&P Master Images in Utica,” said Tenney. “As a result of tax reform, A&P hired another full-time graphic designer and is now weighing the option of building an addition on their current facility or making the investment to expand to a building triple the size of the current facility. Hiring another designer has helped A&P process orders at a faster pace, resulting in a 10.12% sales increase for the year. Businesses like A&P Master Images are proof that providing desperately needed relief from the failed ‘tax and spend’ status quo is the most effective way to improve and grow the economy. Upstate New York depends on small businesses and because of tax reform, these businesses can invest, grow, hire more staff and purchase new equipment.”
