Baldwinsville man arrested following a physical domestic incident

On Monday April 30, 2018, at approximately 7:30 pm, Troopers responded to the North Medical Center on W. Taft Road in Liverpool to investigate injuries sustained to an adult female victim, as a result of a physical domestic dispute that occurred earlier that afternoon, at a residence in the Village of Baldwinsville.

Investigation determined that during the course of a domestic dispute, 39-year-old Thomas Wilkins IV, of Gale Place, Baldwinsville, did threaten to kill the victim, while assaulting and physically restraining her.  Additionally, he took the victim’s cell phone in order to prevent her from calling 911.

Wilkins fled the area after the dispute and was located on Monday, May 7, 2018 just outside of Buffalo, NY, by the Amherst Police Department.  Wilkins was transported back to Onondaga County, where he was arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment 1st degree (E-felony), Assault 3rddegree (A-misdemeanor), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (A-misdemeanor), and Criminal Mischief 4th degree (A-misdemeanor).

Wilkins was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $3,500 cash bail or secured bond.  He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Baldwinsville Court on May 11, 2018.
