Tenney announces Social Security mobile office hours with casework staff
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) announced Social Security mobile office hours for 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 15, in Rome. During mobile office hours, staff from Tenney’s district offices will be available to provide assistance to constituents facing issues with federal agencies, specifically the Social Security Administration.
A representative from the Social Security Administration will also be available at the mobile office hours to provide immediate assistance.
“Social Security is an important program that seniors in the 22nd District rely on, and I’ve been a leading voice in working to preserve and protect Social Security benefits for all New Yorkers,” Tenney said. “Often our seniors struggle to navigate the onerous bureaucracy of the Social Security Administration. That’s why our office is hosting mobile office hours to ensure seniors have access to the important Social Security benefits they need and rely on.”
Rome Mobile Office Hours: Rome City Hall, 198 N. Washington St., Rome, 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday May 15, 2018.
Tenney said her parents relied on Social Security, and she understands firsthand how important Social Security is for our retirees.
