Operation Sunshine partners with Utica Zoo for free admission nights
The first of two summer free admission nights at Utica Zoo is coming up July 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Thanks to the support of Operation Sunshine, Utica Zoo will open their gates to the community for free admission to the entirety of the Zoo. Parking shuttles will be available from the Parkway Rec Center and MVCC from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Food from the Holy Smoques BBQ Fusion Food Truck as well as ‘Voss’ at The Zoo’ will be available.
In addition, a number of Operation Sunshine partner agencies will be present to provide valuable information to community members.
Operation Sunshine is a non-profit corporation of the Observer-Dispatch and was founded in 1968. It is celebrating its 50 th year of service to the greater Utica community and beyond. The Observer-Dispatch underwrites Operation Sunshine’s expenses and 100% of every cent of every dollar contributed goes directly to the cause.
