Quirks and perks of working in Central Park
Rogers Environmental Education Center and the Chenango Canal Association bring you Rogers’ new Senior Educator, Marissa Nolan, to talk at the annual Outdoor Recreation Program at the Town of Madison Historical Society, 3606 South St, Madison, Friday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. Marrisa’s presentation is about New York City’s Central Park’s history and her two-year experience working there.
This is an annual speaker program Rogers and the CCA engage in to bring information about outdoor recreation to the public. The Chenango Canal Association, Roger’s Environmental Education Center, Southern Madison Heritage Trust, Partnership for Community Development and Kirkland Trails will have tables set up with information about hiking, bird watching, horseback riding and more.
This is free to the public but donations are welcome and will go to Roger’s Environmental Education Center. For more information or directions, call Diane Van Slyke at 315.729.8323.
