Madison County Sheriff’s office investigating fatal motorcycle crash involving

On Wednesday, Aug. 15, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Madison County Sheriff’s office deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a 2012 Jeep Patriot operated by John Anderson, 77, of Georgetown, and a 2011 Suzuki motorcycle operated by Brian L. Livingston, 59, of Liverpool.

It is reported that Anderson was northbound on Route 26 when he attempted to make a left-hand turn into the driveway of 1769 State Route 26, Georgetown. At this same time, Livingston was southbound when Anderson turned in front of him, causing the two to collide.

Livingston was pronounced deceased at the scene, and Anderson was transported to Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton for evaluation of his injuries.

The investigation continues.
