A Farewell to Arms to be shown at the Cazenovia Public Library
This fall, the Cazenovia Public Library will present a special series of films and programs commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Head to the Community Room on Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00 pm for afree screening of A Farewell to Arms. The 1932 romance drama film is based on Ernest Hemingway’s 1929 semi-autobiographical novel of the same name.
The Academy Award-winning film tells the story of a romantic love affair between an American ambulance driver and an English nurse in Italy during World War I. The film is unrated and runs 80 minutes. Free popcorn provided. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Cazenovia Public Library.
