Tenney sends letter to FAA in support of UAS Traffic Management Pilot Program in Upstate New York
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22), along with eight of her colleagues, sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration in support of the application by the New York UAS Test Site for the Federal Aviation Administration Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management Pilot Program Demonstration.
“As the premier UAS test site, Griffiss and our region have the talent and infrastructure necessary to fully support and execute the mission of the Pilot Program Demonstration,” Tenney said. “Securing the designation for the UPP site will bolster our Upstate economy and attract jobs to our area. I urge the FAA to consider Upstate New York for this important designation and I look forward to working alongside Reps. Kakto and Stefanik throughout the process.”
Tenney recently sent a letter to President Trump, FAA and DOT in support of New York’s application for the FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Pilot Program.
