Pianist Elaine Greenfield to perform free concert at Oasis
On Thursday, Sept. 27, at 1:30 p.m., Oasis will present pianist Elaine Greenfield.
In anticipation of an upcoming recording project, her program will feature piano works of Maurice Ravel; hear some of Ravel’s most engaging and beloved music. Included are Pavanne Sonatine, excerpts from Mirroirs and Valses Nobles et Sentimentales, Ondine from Gaspard de la Nuit and the Toccata from Tombeau de Couperin.
Greenfield will briefly discuss the music and offer a Q and A period.
Concerts are open to members and non-members of all ages. They are free and exempt from the $15 processing fee.
