State police seek public assistance with identifying an individual in surveillance photos
State police in Lee are asking for the public’s help in identifying the male in these surveillance photos.
On Dec. 6, 2018, the male suspect was captured on security video taking $60 from the change dispenser of a self-checkout register at the Rome Wal-Mart; the owner requested $60 with the cash back option and accidentally left it in the change dispenser.
The male could be seen on surveillance video pocketing the money only seconds after the owner left the register area, and he did not make any attempt to locate or notify the owner.
