Liverpool man arrested on child pornography charges
On Thursday June 27, 2019, members of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in North Syracuse executed a search warrant at 16 Ilex Lane in Liverpool.
Raymond E. Congdon, Jr., 38, of 16 Ilex Lane in Liverpool, was charged with two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony.
The arrest is the result of an investigation initiated after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted the state police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with a cyber tip reporting that someone at this residence was uploading child pornography to the internet.
Congdon was processed at SP North Syracuse and turned over to the Onondaga County Justice Center to await centralized arraignment.
This investigation was conducted with assistance provided by the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office, the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center, the Troop D Computer Crimes Unit and the FBI Mid-State Child Exploitation Task Force.
State police seek public assistance with identifying two individuals in surveillance photos
State police in Watertown are seeking public assistance with identifying two individuals involved in passing counterfeit money at Wal-Mart in the town of Watertown, Jefferson County.
If anyone has information on the identity of either individual in the surveillance photos, they are asked to contact state police at 315.366.6000. All information will remain confidential.
