Tully man arrested following road rage incident in Cicero
State police in North Syracuse arrested Joseph Vigliotti, Jr., 26, of Tully, for second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor.
On Jan. 6, 2020, at approximately 9:30 p.m., troopers responded to a road rage complaint that occurred on Brewerton Road in the town of Cicero. The complainant stated a male driving a Subaru van pointed a gun at her while she was driving down Brewerton Road after she just left the Target store parking lot. The vehicle and suspect were not able to be located the night of the incident.
The incident was investigated, and the vehicle was located along with two BB gun pistols. Vigliotti was identified as the owner and operator of the vehicle and admitted to displaying a BB pistol at the complainant on Jan. 6.
On Jan. 22, 2020, Vigliotti was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Cicero Town Court at 5 p.m. Feb. 6.
