State police in Lysander is requesting public assistance with identifying an individual in a surveillance photo.

Watertown man arrested on assault charges
On Jan. 30, 2020, state police in Watertown arrested Angelo R. Dileonardo, 29, of Watertown, on charges of third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both class A misdemeanors.
Dileonardo is charged with causing physical injury to a 3-year-old child in November 2019. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Pamelia Town Court at 7 p.m. Feb. 20, 2020.
Rome man charged with cashing forged checks
On Feb. 3, 2020, state police in Lee arrested 31-year-old Louis M. Gisondi of Rome on seven counts of second-degree forgery, a class D felony; seven counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class D felony; one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony; and one count of attempted petit larceny, a class B misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred during the month of January 2020.
Gisondi stole several checks from a family member, signed and cashed them at various banks in the city of Rome. The total amount of monetary loss was over $1,000.
Gisondi was arraigned in Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Court and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court at a later date.
