The Madison-Bouckville Promotions board of directors has decided to cancel Madison-Bouckville Antique Week 2020. After discussion with multiple local and state officials, it has been determined it would be unsafe to hold an event of this magnitude at this time.
Members of the board say they watched the statistics and predictions and feel that proceeding with the show may possibly endanger participants, dealers and members of the community.
“We apologize for any disappointment or hardship this decision has made for you and we ask that you put Madison-Bouckville Antique Week on your schedule for Aug. 16 through 22, 2021,” officials wrote in a press release. “Stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you all back when our ‘normal’ resumes.”
All antique shops and most businesses in the Madison-Bouckville area are open for business, practicing state reopening guidelines.
