(Oneida, NY – Jan. 3, 2013) Oneida City Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at about 4:57 p.m. today at the Alliance Bank located in the Price Chopper Plaza located at Route 46 and Route 5 in the City of Oneida.
A lone male suspect entered the bank, handed the teller a note and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber is described as about 5’7” tall, medium build, age appears to be in his twenties. He was wearing black rim glasses, a black pull over hat, black coat, blue jeans and work boots. Unknown on weapon as suspect stated he was armed but did not display a weapon.
A vehicle described as a gray 4 door pickup truck with either a cap or suburban type body is believed to be the suspect vehicle.
