(Morrisville, NY – Jan. 2013) We will be showing the movie, Ice Age: Continental Drift this Friday Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. Bring the family in for popcorn and this enlightening tale.
Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with Morrisville State College Professor William S. Snyder on Monday Jan. 14 at 6:30pm. He will be doing this class for free every Monday so teens and adults; this is your chance to learn this and have fun. If you cannot make that day, he will be here again on Monday Jan. 28.
Kiddies Korner will meet again on Tuesday Jan. 15 at 9:30am to hear stories about snowballs and snowmen. If you can’t make that day, join us Jan. 22 to hear all about dinosaurs.
We are starting a monthly at night book talk on Wednesday Jan. 16 at 6:30pm. The book being discussed is Barbara Kingsolver’s novel, The Poisonwood Bible. Copies can be picked up now.
Join Sue Greenhagen on Friday Jan. 18 at 6:30pm for her Magical History tour. She will share with us how Morrisville 100 years ago was in many ways the same village it is now, but with some differences that are startling. Come and be surprised.
Don’t forget our Annual Canned Food Drive for the Morrisville Food Pantry going on now. Please help us make it better than last year. Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines.
The Library Board meets on Thursday Jan. 17 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
We will be closed on Monday Jan. 21 to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.
