(Cazenovia, NY – Jan. 2013) If you would like training on how to use your iPad, e-Reader, iPhone, digital camera or PC, stop by the Cazenovia Public Library for a class with a technology trainer.

An intermediate iPad class will be held Monday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. Bring your iPad and learn how to use additional applications. Also Jan. 28 is an eReader class at 1 p.m. Bring your Nook, Kindle, tablet or other device and learn how to borrow free eBooks from the library.

Two classes will also be held Saturday, Feb. 2. An introduction to iPads is scheduled for 10 a.m. and will cover the basics of using your iPad – gestures on the touch screen, basic features and popular apps. At 1 p.m. a repeat of the intermediate iPad class is scheduled.

One-on-one tutoring with the technology trainer will be available Monday, Feb. 4, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. To schedule a time, just stop by the library or call 315.655.9322. Also Feb. 4, the introduction to iPads class will again be offered at 7 p.m.

Two classes are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 11. Introduction to Computers will be the first class at 10 a.m. and is designed for people who have little or no computer experience. Microsoft Word 2010 Basics for beginners will be the second class at 1 p.m. and is designed for job-seekers, students and anyone interested in learning how to create professional documents in Microsoft Word. Both of these classes are limited to 12 people and registration is required.

Watch for details on additional classes in February and March. iPhones and Digital Photo Management are scheduled for Feb. 20. The topics for classes Feb. 25 and March 4 will depend on demand.
