(Hamilton, NY – Feb. 2013) Come visit us Saturday, Feb. 2, and help celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Now in its second year, this annual event is held nationwide on the first Saturday in February. We hope you’ll join us for a special story hour at 11 a.m. that morning, or stop by the library anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to enjoy some library games, crafts and books with your child.

Tax time is here again. The state tax forms are available at the library. We are still awaiting the federal tax forms and instruction booklets. Certified volunteer income tax consultants will be available at the Hamilton Public Library again this year to help low-income families and people 60 years old and over complete their tax forms.

These sessions are free and by appointment only. Low-income families in Madison County may call 315.697.3588 to schedule an appointment. The RSVP tax consultations will begin in February. Seniors wishing to schedule an appointment should call 315.824.3361.

Additional information about library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services is available through the library website www.midyorklib.org/wp/hamilton/. Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events and other general library-related information at facebook.com/HPL.books.
