(Morrisville, NY – Feb. 2013) Bring the family in for popcorn and a movie Friday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m.  The movie we are showing is Hotel Transylvania.  It’s a fast, funny and wildly inventive animated tale.

Kiddies Korner will meet again Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 9:30 a.m. to read about monsters.  If you can’t make that day, join us Feb. 26 to read about big and little bears.

Our next nightly book talk will be Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 6:30 p.m.  The book being discussed is The Life of Pi by Yann Martel.  Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk.

Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with Morrisville State College Professor William S. Snyder Monday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m.  He will be doing this class for free every Monday, so teens and adults, this is your chance to learn this and have fun. If you cannot make that day, he will be here again Monday, March 4.

Don’t forget our annual canned food drive for the Morrisville Food Pantry going on now; please help us make it better than last year. Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines.

Don’t forget we will be closed Monday, Feb. 18, to observe President’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Michelle Rounds is library manager for the Morrisville Public Library. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
