The Chittenango Lady Bears concluded regular season play winning back to back games last week defeating Phoenix and Bishop Ludden. Saving their best performance for the last game of the year Friday, the Lady Bears held off a comeback attempt by Bishop Ludden after leading by as much as 13 points earlier.
Seniors Kaitlin Antelmi and Sierra Schafer along with Sophomore Sarah Moon all had four fouls going into the fourth quarter and Chittenango was at a height disadvantage when Moon and Antelmi eventually picked up their 5th. Sophomore Katlyn Boyer unquestionably resolved that issue on the boards while Pierce sisters Megan and Sara put up a combined 15 points to aid the tiring Shafer and Junior Brooke Matzel.
