Juried Student Exhibition opens Feb. 18
(Cazenovia, NY – Feb. 2013) The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall will host the Annual Juried Student Exhibition in the College’s Division of Art and Design Programs from Thursday, Feb. 18 through Monday, March 18. (The Gallery will be closed during break, March 11 to 17.)
The gallery will open at 10 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 18, in celebration of the Division of Art & Design Open House event, with a reception for the artists and designers from 2:30 – 4 p.m. Student artists and designers from Fashion Design, Interior Design, Studio Art, Photography and Visual Communications will be on hand to talk about their work. Student work is being selected and will be announced on the opening day of the exhibition.
March 19 – May 5: Bachelor of Fine Arts degree candidates’ exhibitions by students from the Division of Art & Design. Each exhibition features the work by senior students from the Interior Design, Visual Communications, Studio Art and Photography programs.
May 6 – May 18: Art and Design Division Program Award Candidates Exhibition. Work by students in the running for academic honors will be on display through commencement week, when the award winners will be announced.
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary. Shows and receptions are free and open to the public. The gallery is handicapped accessible.
