(New Woodstock, NY – March 2013) A four-week introductory digital photography class conducted by expert photographer Jerry Weimar will be held at the New Woodstock Free Library Saturdays March 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The class is free and open to the public; pre-registration is not required. Participants should bring their cameras (if they have one) to each class session.
The library is located at 2106 Main Street (Route 13) in the hamlet of New Woodstock.
Weimar, who recently presented an exhibit of his work at the library, will cover the basic skills of capturing a good digital photograph, how the camera works and how to manage, develop and print images with Adobe Lightroom (as well as selected Adobe Photoshop features). The class will show and discuss example images.
There will also be an optional opportunity for a field shoot and print lab.
