(Oneida, NY – March 2013) For children of all ages, Out of the Cage Pet Mobile comes to Oneida Public Library Tuesday March 5 at 4 p.m. to show up close a sample of the exotic pets that the group has rescued from neglect or abandonment.
Out of the Cage specializes in bringing these pets for close encounters with children so they can learn about the exotic creatures and come to respect their place in nature. The Pet Mobile is scheduled to bring to the OPL a bearded dragon (an Australian lizard), a boa constrictor, a chinchilla, a coatimundi (a raccoon-like mammal from Central America), a hedge hog and an iguana.
The program is free and open to the public.
