(Morrisville, NY – April 2013) The Morrisville State College athletic department has named softball’s Jillian Mosley (Salem, N.J.) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 14.
The sophomore catcher went 4-for-6 from the plate (.667 batting average) in last week’s doubleheader action against Wells College, collecting four runs, seven RBI’s and two stolen bases.
Of her four hits, one was a double, one a triple and two were homeruns, including one sent over the centerfield fence.
Mosley also registered two stolen bases on the day and in the field added a total 15 putouts.
The graduate of Salem High is majoring in equine science at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Julia and Harold Mosley of Salem, NJ.
