(Watertown, NY – May 2013)With enrollment up 45 percent in the last five years, Faith Fellowship Christian School is growing as more and more parents choose a faith-based education that yields results.

“Our students fare very well with the education they receive at Faith Fellowship,” said Ted Curinga, school principal. “Parents appreciate the fact that their students get the preparation they need for college. Our SAT scores have consistently been above the national averages. But most important, the students are also being prepared to live a Christian life.”

Faith Fellowship Christian School was founded in 1987 to give Christian parents an opportunity to educate their children in a faith-based environment. The school’s enrollment has risen from 91 students in the 2007-08 school year to 165 this year in the former Watertown City School District Moore Street School.

“Our school has drawn the attention of more and more Christian parents, and we hope to attract more students for the coming school year,” said Pastor Mike Bartholomew. “We are thrilled about the growth and we hope to accommodate continued growth in the years to come. That’s a good problem to have. It means we’re doing something right in service to the Lord and for the students.”

“Public school teachers and their students are under a lot of stress because of standardized tests,” Curinga added. “Our teachers are given the freedom they need to focus on the child and teaching the fundamental course content. Coupled with the opportunity to strengthen the faith of your child in Christ, Faith Fellowship is an attractive option. We hope to continue growing and welcoming more families to join our school family.”

  1. any school that allows the teachers to discriminate against a student based on their country of origin is not a school at all. i went to catholic school when i was young, and guess what, they also felt it was better to lie to parents and protect teachers from illegal activites of their “staff”. for the record and hopefully for those teachers here is a little lesson, canada is not communist, we would be considered socialist, and we dont club baby seals, SEAL HUNTERS from ANY country who disrespect nature club baby seals. any school that teaches religion or discrimination should be disbanded and demolished to stop the indoctrination and mental abuse in children.

  2. Belittling and bullying of any kind is defined as harrassment period. The fact that it is being done by a so-called “adult”, not to mention a teacher/principal is mind-boggling. All this happening at a so-called “christian” institution is disgraceful. The mother tried to have a meeting with said school officials and apparently was brushed off. Basic American attitude, no wonder the US is increasingly being villainized outside it’s borders…they simply do not get it…so sad…
