(Madison, NY – May 2013) The Town of Madison Historical Society hosts Bob Tegart, researcher of World War II and President of the Clinton Historical Society to present Village At War at the Madison Historical Museum, South Street, Madison on June 17 at 7 p.m.
Tegart has studied military history for many years and in 45 minutes, will describe how World War II affected our local area. He will talk about rationing, the men away from our country, black-outs, air raids and drills.
You may have stories from your own family to share and are welcome to attend. The regular historical meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker at 7.
