(Remsen, NY – June 2013) Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County is offering a pasture walk and would like to extend an open invitation to all area grazing dairies.
The walk, scheduled for Monday June 17 will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is hosted by the Atwell Farm. The farm address is 9628 Prospect Road, Remsen.
Nancy Glazier, Small Farms Specialist with the NW New York Dairy, Livestock and Crops Team, will be the guest speaker. Lunch will be provided; there is no charge to attend, however, we do ask that you call ahead to reserve a seat.
