(Cazenovia, NY – June 2013) Oz the Great and Powerful hits the big screen in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room on Friday, June 28 at 1 and 6:30 p.m.
Disney’s fantastical adventure follows Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics. When he is hurled away to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—until he meets three witches, who aren’t convinced he’s the great wizard everyone is expecting.
Reluctantly drawn into epic problems facing Oz and its inhabitants, Diggs must find out who is good and who is evil before it’s too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity, and wizardry, Diggs transforms himself into the great wizard and a better man as well. (Amazon.com)
Oz the Great and powerful is rated PG and runs for 130 minutes. As always, admission and popcorn are free.
