Bethany Omans and Brownie Bunny are ready for the 4-H community day and critter corral at the New Woodstock Library June 29 from 2 to 5 p.m.
(New Woodstock, NY – June 2013) Saturday June 29 is 4-H community activities at the New Woodstock Free Library, featuring face painting and a “critter corral.”
Children are invited to attend the event from 2 to 5 p.m. to enjoy the many family oriented activities.
Saturday is also the beginning of a 4-H project display at the library, which will run through July 15. The display will be open to the public during all library hours after the 29th.
The New Woodstock Free Library is located at 2106 Main Street (Route 13).
Also coming to the library is the perennially popular children’s summer reading program, which is held every Tuesday at 11 a.m. the entire summer. There will be a pet mobile, music, R2D2, a magician, puppets and many more. Special movie showings have been added to the schedule this year. The New Woodstock Free Library is open Monday through Friday 1 to 5 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 until 1. The library is also open whenever the blue library symbol flag is flying out front. Children’s hour is every Tuesday at 11 a.m.
