(Oneida, NY – July 2013) Educator Elaine Clark returns with “The Little Red Wagon,” a six-session weekly  program of fun and learning for preschoolers and their parents, on Friday mornings at 10 a.m., beginning July 26 and running through Aug. 30, at Oneida Public Library.

Clark will provide stories, activities and games that will bolster the children’s language skills and promote good practices for future reading comprehension. Parents will also learn ways to promote children’s language skills at home through play

This past school year, Clark conducted at the library the program called Let’s Play: Putting the Joy Back into Literacy, an educational program to promote pre-reading skills for set aged groups from birth to 6 years of age. In an informal way, her Little Red Wagon program will duplicate much of the Let’s Play curriculum.

The Little Red Wagon is free and open to the public.
