(Morrisville, NY – July 2013) Hey kids, be sure to finish reading 10 or more hours before Friday Aug. 16 to be able to win some great prizes and be invited to our summer reading graduation ceremony on Wednesday Aug. 21 at 6:30pm.
Juggling Josh, also known as Joshua Edelman, has been delighting audiences with his unique blend of breathtaking skills and side splitting comedy for over a decade. He will be here Friday Aug. 9 at 6:30pm. His show features the fusion of spellbinding feats, tons of interactive audience participation, and side-splitting comedy. He might even juggle your child. Bring the family in for a sure to be good time.
Join us for “I Dig Treasure Hunts” on Wednesday Aug. 14 at 6:30pm. Everyone likes treasure hunts right? Well, we hope you can find the treasure at our library. Join us and see if you can complete our treasure hunt for the hidden treasure.
Join us for “I Dig Water.” on Friday Aug. 16 at 6:30pm. OK, we have to play with water. It’s summertime. So bring the kids in and plan to get wet. Please bring a towel or a change of clothes.
We will be showing the movie, 42, on Friday Aug. 30 at 6:00pm. Bring the family in for this “sports film non-sports fans can love; it’s a family film that never preaches”. Popcorn will be provided. Please note: This movie is rated PG-13 so if you are not 13 years of age, you MUST bring a parent or guardian with you or we will not allow you to view the movie.
The Morrisville Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for interested candidates to be on a waiting list should an opening become available on the board. Interested people must be at least 18 years of age and qualified to vote in the M-ECS District. He/she must be literate, a citizen of the United States and not be a convicted felon or have been adjudged incompetent. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the Library Manager.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm for the summer.
