(New Woodstock, NY – Aug. 2013) The Lehigh Valley Railroad was built to bring coal from the Pennsylvania mines to the north country and Buffalo. John Taibi will be the guide Saturday Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at the New Woodstock Depot, Railroad Street, with a short presentation and walk on this railroad which ran through New Woodstock and Cazenovia until 1967.
The New Woodstock Regional Historical Society depot museum will be open for visitors as part of this event.
