web art(Canastota, NY – Sept. 2013) There will be some unique and unusual displays and programs at the Fall Migration Festival at the Great Swamp Conservancy this Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jennifer Clark is expected with her Out of the Cage Petmobile, Maxman Reptiles will have a variety of rescued reptiles to see and Jean Soprano of Kindred Kingdom will show her Birds of Prey program at noon in the back barn.

Among the creative nature artists will be new vendor, Ethan Stockbridge.

Stockbridge is a science minded business youth age 13. He specializes in finding dead bugs and encases them in clear resin, preserving them indefinitely.  He also collects spider webs and creates framed art with them.

His business, Ethan’s Environmental Kollections (EEK), has a variety of terrariums and bird houses for sale. This young entrepreneur attends Canastota schools in the 8th grade. When asked why bugs he replied, “Insects are cool,” and he has been fascinated with them since he was a little kid.
