(New Woodstock, NY – Sept. 2013) The Cazenovia Watercolor Society exhibit opens at the library Oct. 2 and continues through Oct. 30.  This year’s theme is “Fall Landscapes.”  The Society has been showing works at the library each year for almost two decades.

On Saturday, Oct. 5 and Saturday Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, the library will be a stop on the Cazenovia Art Trail.  The Cazenovia Art Trail is an annual self-guided tour of artists’ studios which will be a unique opportunity for the public to meet artists in their working environments.

Also, the week of Oct. 7 through Oct. 12, the library welcomes the Madison County Historical Society, Madison County Veterans Office and PAC-99 exhibit “Madison County during WWII.”  The highlight of the exhibit will be a presentation by Veteran Harold Wood at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

All exhibits and presentations at the library are free and open to the public.  Exhibits are open during all regular library hours.

The New Woodstock Free Library is located at 2106 Main Street (Route 13) in the hamlet of New Woodstock.

For more information about these and other programs at the library call 662-3134 or visit the library’s web page at www.midyork.org/newwoodstock.

The New Woodstock Free Library is open Monday through Friday 1 to 5 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 until 1.  The library is also open whenever the blue library symbol flag is flying out front.  Children’s hour is every Tuesday at 11 a.m.
