(Canastota, NY – Oct. 2, 2013) Canastota Pop Warner had a beautiful day for football this past Saturday.
The Mighty Mite and C-Teams both hosted Mohawk and the B-team hosted Sauquoit. Early in the game the Mighty Mites gave up a few touchdowns. But, then quickly got back in the game and really showed the Mohicans how hard they had been training and what a tough team they really are.
The C-team (Junior Pee Wee) played a battle up and down the field with each team giving as good as they got. In the end the junior pee wee Raiders brought it home with a score of 12-6, putting them at 2-2-and 1 for the season.
The PeeWee team (B-team) game was the challenge of the day with both teams going in undefeated. The game was truly an epic battle between two dominant teams. But alas, there could only be one winner. The Canastota Pop Warner Pee Wee team is now 4 and 1 for the season. They have a lot of football left and we look forward to some more outstanding football.
