Service Academies Reverse Earlier Decisions on Soccer, Volleyball, Golf
(Hamilton, NY – Oct. 3, 2013) Play ball!
That’s the word Colgate received Thursday afternoon from its two Patriot League service academy members when Navy and Army both reinstated weekend contests that had been postponed or cancelled earlier in the day.
So once again, the Raiders have scheduled Saturday meetings against Navy in both volleyball (4 p.m.) and women’s soccer (7 p.m.), and men’s golf is back on for Sunday and Monday at Army for the Stars and Stripes Invitational.
This week’s women’s soccer game at Army that was postponed Wednesday is now being made up next Wednesday, Oct. 9, as part of a doubleheader with Colgate and Army men’s teams. Start times have yet to be announced.
