(Geneseo, NY – Oct. 1, 2013) Host SUNY Geneseo scored three times in the opening five minutes and added another five before the end of the first half, posting a 8-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over visiting Morrisville State College field hockey Tuesday afternoon in Geneseo.
The loss drops the Mustangs to 0-10 overall, 0-4 in SUNYAC play.
Bridget McGovern led Geneseo with two tallies on the afternoon, while six additional teammates posted one each.
Morrisville State’s Nicole Gregg (Whitney Point, N.Y.) recorded the loss in net, making eight stops in the Mustangs efforts.
Morrisville State returns to the field Saturday, hosting Vassar College at 1 p.m.on Drake Field.
